Yuma High Basketball Investment
Local Attorney Invests $10,000 in the Future of Yuma High Basketball
YUMA, Ariz. — When Yuma attorney Cid Kallen learned the Yuma High School Criminals boys basketball program needed additional support, he didn’t just offer encouragement. Through Citrine Law, he made a $10,000 investment in the program and its student-athletes.
$10,000 CHECK PRESENTATION CEREMONY
Citrine Law will officially present its $10,000 contribution to the Yuma High School Criminals boys basketball program on Wednesday, September 9 at 4:00 p.m. inside the Yuma High School basketball gym.
Cid Kallen will join Head Coach Louden Young, Yuma High basketball players and members of the program for the official check reveal and presentation. Members of the community and local media are invited to attend.
The $10,000 contribution will directly support the Yuma High basketball program by helping provide student-athletes with new warm-up gear, upgraded equipment, meals during road trips and opportunities to compete in spring and summer tournaments and skill-development camps.
The contribution is being made through Northside Hoops, the booster organization supporting the Yuma High School Criminals boys basketball program.
For Head Coach Louden Young, the contribution represents much more than financial support.
For Kallen, the decision to step up was about investing in more than basketball. It was about investing in Yuma’s next generation.
“The Yuma High Criminals have a proud legacy that spans generations and means a great deal to this community,” Kallen said. “When we learned there was an opportunity to help, the decision was easy. At Citrine Law, we believe investing in young people is one of the best investments a community can make. We’re honored to support Coach Young, these student-athletes and everyone working to build the future of Yuma High Basketball. We hope this investment inspires others to support programs that make a positive impact in the lives of local youth. Go Crims!”
The investment will help strengthen Yuma High Basketball both during the season and throughout the offseason, giving players access to resources and opportunities designed to help them develop on and off the court.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to ensuring Yuma High student-athletes have the resources, experiences and community support needed to succeed.
As the Criminals prepare for the 2026–2027 season, this $10,000 investment represents more than a financial contribution. It is a vote of confidence in the future of Yuma High Basketball and in the young men who will carry its tradition forward.
